"East is East and West is West and never the twain shall meet." they do meet though and I too wonder where it will lead? Western philosophy "over here" is considered de rigueur while "over there" there is oriental philosophy and it has little influence on us. Our philosophy has come to influence many there, if we are to believe "our media". (McDonald's has stores all over as does Coca-Cola.) Will there be mutual assimilation and compromise? If so where? And how?
