Sane people dont come online.. they have a life, you know friends , family, work

I started chatting online when I was 11 too. My favourite was Habbo Hotel. It is safe and friendly. There are many rooms that you can go into, and you can block people from certain rooms if you want to, and leave them easily if you want to. You get to make your own person, choosing what they look like and what clothes they wear. Best of all, there are people on the site (called Hobbas) who make sure that everyone is safe and happy. If there is a person bothering you, you can call them. And all swear words and even the word 'password' is blocked! It comes up as the word 'bobba' if you swear. I think it's good that you're researching this for your son. Whether parents like it or not, their kids are going to want to do what their friends do and chat online. It's good that you're embracing that idea and making sure that when he chats, he's chatting safely :) x
