I think they're great!!! Even when they spoke out against Bush!!! I don't like him or his decisions either and I don't think they should have been forced to apologize. But... I think their first cd is their best

Everyone has the right to free speech - just not in the middle of working a professional job.

The Confederate Floozies pulled their infamous stunt in England, home of our biggest supporters of the war, during a time when their hit Travelling Soldier was #1. Nathalie's outburst wasn't planned, as the other two girls apologized INSTANTLY to the crowd, only to pose naked two weeks later for Entertainment Weekly with buzzwords painted strategically all over their body. Is this the act of humble recalcitrance that's supposed to endear America's deepest supporters?

As a retired military uniform wearer, I would have been sick to my stomach when Nathalie Maines spouted off in front of both English and military whom paid for tickets to listen to a concert.

You can like their musicianship. I even like the single Not Ready To Make Nice. However, they are forced to do what they are doing to try and save face on their careers. I see right through the facade. Were they going to sell albums if they had apologized sincerely and never mentioned the President again?

Controversy sells albums, but the way the Chicks are doing it is an outrage. I don't see the controversy - I see a bunch of drama queens who used their office as a political boon to assist their pocket books.

I love them.

Being American does not mean that you must be silent and unthinking. We have a right to free speech and free thought. If you don't like that then you can get out.

Go Chicks. They're very talented girls who can think on their feet and are not afraid to voice their opinion. We need more of this type females!!!!
