we are in an economic recession ..... brand new bike prices are droping and dropping .... I would look at the price of a brand new bike ... figure out the monthly payment on that bike and deduct the amount that they have been paying ... so say a Sportster at 8 thousand dollars and add 20% for interest and fees with a monthly payment of $170.00 and the bike was owned for two years which would be $9600.00 minus $4080.00 = $5,520.00 is about what they owe on it ... how desperate are they to get out from under it ?? This is a buyers market .....

just look online at what bikes are going for and what people are paying. it wouldnt hurt to get someone who does know about bikes to go with you when you look at one as there are things that could be wrong with them like the frame could be cracked, the bottom end may be on its way out. Check the oil isnt milky as if it is then dont touch it.
