In college football, the best team ever was the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers. Under the Direction of Coach Tom Osborn, he led a recruiting class that wasn't ranked very high(almost all from Nebraska), to the 1997 National Championship with a 13-0 record. They rolled all of their oppenets by winning by an average of 40 points a game. Not only did they have that, but they beat 4 top 10 teams, had a heiman winning quaterback in Tommy Frazier, and all that is topped with a 62-24 beatdown of Florida in the National Championship. Hands Down to the Big Red of Nebraska.

I'll give you 3 good ones
1972 Dolphins
1985 Bears
and THE HOMETOWN HEROES 1998 DENVER BRONCOS

PICK YOUR CHOICE because two of those team started at 13-0 BEFORE they loss their 1st.(1985 Bears and 1998 Broncos) They broken, set or tied records in those seasons. A hall of fame quarterback and won MVP of S.B. XXXIII(Broncos-ELWAY), A 2000 yard rusher
league MVP and won the S.B. that year (Broncos-DAVIS). One of the top notched Defense of all time(1985 Bears)
and a record that still stands today and probably aways will is being undefeated(1972 Dolphins) Oh and a high powered prolific offense(1998 Broncos). The kicker tied a record for longest field goal made 63 yards(Broncos-ELAM). Now have any of the other Super Bowl teams compare to that?

P.S. GO BRONCOS HOMETOWN HEROES!!!!!

The greatest football team of all time had to be the 1945 US Army West Point Team. The went undefeated in '45 and '46.
They had two star players, Hall of Famers Glenn Davis, and Doc Blanchard in the backfield. They were called Mr Outside, and Mr Inside. They rolled over everyone they played for two years.

In the pros it's the 1972 Miami Dolphins and in college it's the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers.

This is an easy one. The greatest team of all time is the 1972 Dolphins. They're the only team to ever go undefeated through the regular season and playoffs (even though the regular season only consisted of fourteen games in those days).
