I really have no answer for this problem except to say as the mother of 3 this is NOT normal and you need to make a doctors appointment immediately, make sure you tell the receptionist the problem, they may want her in the same day. This could be serious, don't fool around and wait please.

Ok, since its Saturday and you can't exactly get to a doctor right away, why don't you try a few options. First off, she is probably coming off a growth spurt, and needing less food. I would suggest looking at your feeding schedule, are you offering food every 2 hours or so? Did you recently change bottles, nipples, formula, etc? If so, go back to what she's used to. It's important that infants this young eat every 2-3 hours...4 hours max if they are sleeping. The formula or milk you are feeding her only stays in her stomach about 2 hours. Also, try setting a routine for eating, tell her its time to eat, go to the same place each time, use the same bottles, wrap her in the same blanket, make sure her diaper is clean and dry, so she's comfortable, that sort of thing. Another thought is to try singing to her or putting on comforting music. You also should try to relax and let go of other stresses of your life during those feeding times, because our babies can sense stress in their mama's. Do your best to get her eating, and if you are still worried, you can always call into an emergency room and talk to a nurse for free, and not have the stress of taking your girlie into a germ-infested hospital emergency room.

Yes call the doctor, most have an emergency line you can connect 24 hours a day and they will page the doctor to call you. I would the doctor will either say one of two things, go out and buy some formula, different brands and see if she will take a new formula and see if maybe that is the issue. Or the doctor will tell you to go to the emergency room. I understand you are scared and worried, but the doctors will help you find an answer so dont be afraid to call them its their job.

What should you do? Make an appointment to see your pediatrician on Monday. Better yet, take her to a children's hospital or ER now. She can become dehydrated and sick if she is not getting enough fluids, one way or another.
I do not know if you are in the United States or elsewhere, so you might have to ask again as to where you can find emergency child treatment at midnight on Saturday night. Tell us where, exactly, you live and we can maybe give more help.

This is not normal. You need to get her to the doctor and get her weighed. At this age even losing half of a pound is a big deal. Don't chance it, get to the doctor!

You should call your pediatrician. 13 oz is definatley not enough. She could be suffering from FTT, or failure to thrive. This is not normal. How long has this been going on?

Talk to the baby's doctor. She may need some iron supplements to help her along.
