The Lightning advertisers need to be demoted. Remember last year when they hoisted like a 30 foot long banner of Denis. Like he is the big answer to the the Grahame problem. Another foot in the mouth.
I am just starting to puke on "Love it Live". That's fine if you want butts in the seats, just don't make a slogan for it.
They need better promotions and less slogans.
As for Hockey Bay, USA. I have come to a point where I do not hear it anymore. Cheesy, yes. I like this slogan, "Since your precious Bucs are playing today, why don't you go watch a hockey game."
Sorry, I haven't had my coffee yet this morning.

Yes it is cheesy. They created it in an effort to have a tag phrase like Hockeytown. That's what we get when the owners are from Detroit.
It really means nothing and sells little merchandise. I'm glad they finally took it off center ice and returned the Lightning logo.
Mike: maybe if your team played better in Tampa you wouldn't mind us having a team too. See you Thursday.

it's a nice try but....it's Florida....Tampa Bay a couple years ago in the Finals were selling tickets buy one get one free...which is just pathetic....Florida deserves NO teams in ANY sport.
RESPONSE to RIP: I never take a shot at the players on a team. It just obvious that places like Tampa Bay are dragging the game of Hockey down. The NHL needs less teams and Tampa should be one of the first to go. I do not question your fandum but I do question most of Tampa Bay fans ethusiasum for hockey.

When I first heard this , I was at a womens tourney in Tampa. They gave us all those bumperstickers. We all thought that they were a bar advertisement. No other team "got" it until someone asked. The general reaction of the teams was "yeah ok". It is a bit cheesie.

Hockey Bay? Fromage city. It's awful, campy and cheapens the team's accomplishment.

it sounds a bit cheesy to me. But hey, We have "Our team, Our Tradition" this year in NC... I think that qualifies for generic and lame as well.
