No chance. Eastern writers didn't pay any attention until the last week of the season.

They gave Braun ROY at All-Star break despite the fact that he can't field his way out of a wet paper sack.

Rollins will get MVP because he made a prediction at the beginning of the season that he made come true, and because despite the evidence, Holiday gets no credit for playing at Coors. Of course, since Francis pitches at Coors, you would think that he might get some credit for that - but it doesn't work that way with the biased East Coast media.

Hurdle will get nothing. Pinella (even though he was supposed to win), Melvin (deserving for making something out of nothing), or Yost? (for keeping Milwaukee in the hunt) will win. Hurdle probably 5th since they will probably also give votes to Manual.

Best thing Rox can do is to win the thing. Even then they will probably find some reason to give series MVP to Ortiz.

Very good odds. Holliday has the MVP numbers, the team did fantastic down the stretch, Hurdle will be seen as extracting the maximum from his roster and Tulowitzki became the front runner in May with that unassisted triple play.

im seeing their chances pretty good..tulowitzky is Rookie of the year for me and their manager has brought a tteam everyone thought was gonna have 62-100 record to a world series competitor though MVP is gonna be tough for holliday because of Prince Fielder
