After changing the sensor and reseting the computer the o2 light will not go out. I'm ready to tape over the light and forget about it. Any suggestions to cure this would be great. Thanks

i had a 90 model, and on the very back of the dash there's a re-set button to turn the light off,it was Isuzu,s way of making this a hard vehicle to work on,your might have it also, you just slide the switch back to the opposite of what it is and it re-set it,i had to learn this from a book ,but it worked,i think 93,s still had the same system on them also, the dash isn't that hard to get too,but that should fix it,the light wont turn off with a scanner either, good luck with it.

The O2 sensor turns on the trouble lite to let you know there is a problem. You don't change the sensor unless it tells you it is defective. If you read the code the number will tell you the problem then it is up to you to diagnose the problem from the info. given in the code. If you had posted the code I probably could have solved your problem. NEVER replace any part till you know the problem.

It means you will burn out the converter.
Witch is no big deal because any car with a O2 sencer is running rich to begin with.
