Hey! I am doing my chemistry mid-term study guide and some questions came up. Please help!!! Thanks
Can you explain it as well so that I know why?

1) Which element would require the least amount of energy to remove an electron from the outer shell (ionization energy)?
2) Which element would have the highest electronegativity?
3) Which element would be the mest reactive metal?
4) Which element would combine with two halogens in an ionic bond?
5) which element would have the smallest atomic radius?
6) which element is the most reactive non-metal?
7) which element has characteristics similar to both metals and non-metals?
8) which element would require the most amount of energy to remove an electron from the outer shell (ionization energy)?
9) which element would have the lowest electronegativity?
10) which element is most likely to be totally un-reactive?

1) Very reactive metal from Group 1 of the periodic table, got only one electron in outer shell ; lithium

2)No idea,sorry

3)do you mean most or least?? Most is sodium, least is Gold

4)they more or kless react among themselves, not sure

5)Hydrogen

6)Fluorine

7)Metalloids are silicon (Si), germanium (Ge), arsenic (As), antimony (Sb), and tellurium (Te).

8)The most stable ones,in Group 8 ; Helium also because the 2 outer electrons are the closest ones to the inner positive protons (the further the eelctron are from the proton, less energy required)

9)No idea

10)Inert elements in Group8,Helium or Neon,not sure

Hope this helps, electronegativity is none of my interest, sorry
9)

2 is probably cessium because its in the lower left.
5 would be hydrogen because it is the smallest element
7 would be any metalliod
10 is probably helium, noble gas
8 would be probably the noble gas in the lower right of the periodic table
sorry, im takin chem too, but who pays attention anyway?

I would assume you have a list of elements from which to select. Where is it?
