This is the power of synergy. Our combined strength is greater than the sum of our individual strengths.

I think it's George Orwell. 2+2 doesnt equate to 5. To get such results, false assumptions are made that allow contradictions. I think to get this, the person showing you divided it somewhere by 0. Pure mathemathical error. It looks convincing, but there's something wrong mid way. Concepts of infinity are also used sometimes. Look up chaos theory. It might interest you.
Here's an example from wikipedia:
* Start with the identity
− 20 = − 20
* Express both sides in slightly different, yet equivalent ways
25 − 45 = 16 − 36
* Factor both sides
5^2 - 5 \times 9 = 4^2 - 4 \times 9
* Add the same thing to both sides
5^2 - 5 \times 9 + \frac{81}{4} = 4^2 - 4 \times 9 + \frac{81}{4}
* Now factor both sides again
\left(5 - \frac{9}{2}\right)^2 = \left(4 - \frac{9}{2}\right)^2
* Take the square root of both sides
5 - \frac{9}{2} = 4 - \frac{9}{2}
* Cancel the common term
5 = 4
*Proof
2+2=5

flow all consistent to a minimum of one area and all (right here purely one) variables to a minimum of one area. 7 = 2 + 5(z - 2) 7-2 = 5(z-2) 5 = 5(z-2) ...divide the two factors via 5 a million = (z-2) a million= z-2 ... upload 2 to the two factors a million+2 = z-2+2 3 = z + 0 3 = z z = 3

Looks like you already did. Some, however, would debate that 2+2=/=5, but rather 2+2=22.

I think you meant to say: Can anyone PROVE 2 + 2 = 5. That's mathematically possible, but there's nothing here to SOLVE.

First of all, this is an equation but there is nothing to "solve". This is just a statement and this statement is false. It is like saying, can you answer this question, "stop posting such idiotic questions on yahoo!"?

This is not an equation. In an equation something is unknown. Here everything is known and connected with a false statement.

is this about the whole thing that the number is just a symbol of the value you put into it, but you cant actually prove that 1+1=2 or any other numbers?

There is nothing for which to solve. The equation is simply an error.

Sure.
2 + 2 = 5
2(2) = 5
2 = 2.5
2 doesn't have to be a constant. It can also be a symbol for a number, in other words, a variable.
The 2 outside the parentheses is a coefficient of the variable 2. Please don't be confused.
