Do you think father time has finally caught up with Hasek? I mean the guy turns 43 in January and I was VERY surprised to see him withstand the wear and tear last season. If he doesn't turn it around relatively soon, could you see him calling it quits? To be honest, I think it might be the best thing for the Wings. That said, I have never given Hasek the credit he deserves but this time I might really think he is done like dinner.

You cant chirp Chris because how many goals did your team give up tonight at home???

Hasek is toast and was toast in last years WCF. Wish he was gone, but what can I do? Hopefully Ozzie will continue to play strong and work himself into a 60/40 or 50/50 ice time set-up.

I dont really understand why a few more FA goaltenders havent been drooling for that job, maybe Kenny and Jimmy just havent made the offers. Seems like a healthy way to pad your stats and assure yourself a playoff run. I can only assume that many NHL goalies would love to only see 20 pucks a game.

The thumbs down will be from those who haven't really been watching how he has embarrassed himself so far this year and last year against the Ducks. If you have the best reflexes in the world, laying in the net doing snow angels apparently worked well. Dom no longer has the reflexes he once had and watching old tribute videos are not going to make them come back!
If he would retire, the Wings could move on and reload, why any Wings fan wouldn't see that as a good idea is beyond me. Do you know how easy the job the Wings give Dom would be for Biron, Gerber, Huet, or even Fernandez right now. Come on!!!

He's not playing well tonight but fortunately for him, Detroit is controlling the play so Hasek doesn't look as bad as he actually is. The third period just started.

I hope it's just a small streak that will end soon enough.
