Nobody starts on only 2 days rest.

To the guy that says he's done it before, you are incorrect - he pitched on 3 days rest against the Yankees if that's what you're referring to.

Schilling said that Beckett would work out of the bullpen in relief.

Francona wouldn't start Beckett, on account of that players with 4 or less days of rest pitchers are a lot worse with a 5-day rest.

Plus Francona will need him for Wendnesday when the Red Sox play in Game 1 of the World Series.

Your news is wrong. Dice K is pitching and they will have Beckett come in as a relief pitcher if needed but lets hope Dice K can carry us like Schilling did tonight.

No, he didn't. Get your facts straight. Francona has made it VERY clear that Matsuzaka will be starting. As of yesterday, Beckett and Terry both said that if there were a Game 7 (which there is) that Josh would be available in the pen if needed. But he will NOT be starting. It's not been long enough, and they need him for the World Series.

Schilling did not say that Beckett was starting Game 7.
Where did you get your news.
I'm a Sox fan and Dice-K is starting but if he get into trouble they say that Beckett could come in as a relief pitcher.
FACT.

get yo facts right, girly

dice K is starting, and beckett is there incase they need to take dice K out

which is a great idea
they are both really good, but Beckett is SO relilable and constant, so if DiceK cracks under pressure, we can hand over the pressure to beckett and he will most likely do great

Schil did not say that. K is starting, and Beckett could make a relief appearance.

I heard and saw Schilling say after tonight's game that Dice-K was pitching tomorrow night so you must be wrong.
