where to insert my micro sd adapter in my computer...?

my new phone has a micro sd card, and it has an adapter. i just dont know what to look for when they tell me i insert the adapter in my computer somewhere..I have a dell pc. can anyone help me???

The card reader thing is right, but I also have a new phone with a micro SD card and it came with a USB cable that allowed me to plug the phone directly into my computer. With the card in the phone, you can add things to it.

You need a card reader, normally they are not part of a computer, so you will need a USB card reader adapter.
