3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

I'm 65 and two weeks ago my blood pressure was 157 over 105! I was feeling fatigued constantly and my right ankle was swollen. Not wanting to get on prescribed meds, I tried a natural way. Today, two weeks later my blood pressure was 133/85 and I'm feeling much better. I started by increasing my water intake to fully hydrate, started walking 4 miles 3-4 times per week, ate lots of fruit and veg., I also started taking one aspirin a day, cut out red meat and coffee. My goal is 120/80 in three weeks, just like all the charts say.

My very close and holistic friend is into herbs. I know they are good but I haven't done any research specifically on herbs to drink as teas etc. If you want to try there are excellent resources online and as the library. I would recomend aromatherapy though which is what I practice for wellness and health issues. By the way it sounds like you are doing all the right things. If you don't keep up with what you are doing then herbs or essential oils won't be of much help. I would likewise do your research on either one before you may try them and make sure they won't intteract with any medications you may be taking. That being said the essential oils lavender, majoram, and ylang ylang will help with lower blood pressure. My friend also takes some great vitamin supplements that I started taking too. If you want any more info on the vitamins or the aromatherapy just email me.

Exercise every day, lose weight, cut out all salt from your diet, drink lots of water. Try just taking a walk before work every day. It will help you with the exercise part and will help you lose weight
Even after you do that, you should still go on medication. It is a very dangerous condition and you could have a stroke and become paralyzed. I exercise, lost weight and do not eat salt, but I still have to take medication (but a smaller dose than I would if I did not do those things).
These are the things that can happen to you if it is not controlled

* Blood vessel damage (arteriosclerosis)

One remedy is Lecithin granules. You can buy them in any health food store. Put 3 level tablespoons into a smoothie each day. Use 1 cup milk or juice, one banana and 1/2 cup of frozen fruit of your choice. Chamolie tea will also lower BP by reducing your body's level of adrenaline. As long as you don't have a ragweed allergy, you can drink as much of it as you like. It will also help you sleep better. I use Celestial Seasonings straight camomile. I do not use other mixtures. Camomile alone is completely safe.

1. Omega-3 oils, like fish oil, flax oil, borage oil. These can have miraculous effects on your health. You get what you pay for - the better ones cost a little more, and are in the refrigerated section of the health store.

2. Acupuncture or acupressure. I knew somebody who was literally off the charter with her blood pressure, and acupuncture got it down to normal.

Making dietary changes is your first line of defense in treating hypothyroidism. Learn here https://tr.im/uexTo

Many people with hypothyroidism experience crippling fatigue and brain fog, which prompts reaching for non-nutritional forms of energy like sugar and caffeine. I’ve dubbed these rascals the terrible twosome, as they can burn out your thyroid (and destabilize blood sugar).

1. Just say no to the dietary bungee cord. Greatly reduce or eliminate caffeine and sugar, including refined carbohydrates like flour, which the body treats like sugar. Make grain-based carbohydrates lesser of a focus, eating non-starchy vegetables to your heart’s content.

2. Up the protein. Protein transports thyroid hormone to all your tissues and enjoying it at each meal can help normalize thyroid function. Proteins include nuts and nut butters; quinoa; hormone- and antibiotic-free animal products (organic, grass-fed meats, eggs, and sustainably-farmed fish); and legumes.

Besides garlic, fish oil and apple cider vinegar there are numerous others that you can find in a web search for "high blood pressure" + "natural remedies".
