I ran into a toilet once on a dark road and my dad killed me. I screwed the car up. How the H*** did that get there. I still think about ot to this day.

Yes! Me too! Did they leave it on top of their car when they drove down the road and it just fell off there? Or did someone upset someone else so they jerked off their shoe (or whatever strange thing is in the road) and throw it out the window? Makes me wonder HMMM

All the time. Things fly out of trailers all the time including garbage that people don't tie down well enough. Of course there's furniture, wood you name it. Just hope you aren't the target of some of these things flying off trailers and the like.
We live in the north woods and the one thing you don't want to do is drive behind or along side a loging truck.
Good reminder ... never drive too close to person ahead of you. When driving, you better be ready for anything.

not really. But one time I had major tunnel vision driving in the morning fog going down the 101 south of Monterey- and it got REALLY scary! The fog became so thick, that I though I was actually driving right into a canyon with crazy high walls. It was frightening- like out of Jurassic Park or something. Once it cleared up, and could atleast see the wide open space, there was still some fog lingering, and I swore at one point I saw something huge running across the highway- but there was just jumbled fog... I swear I wasn't high or anything! :)

yea. I saw a blanket or something in the middle of the road the other day and wondered who lost it. It was there still 3 days later. And this was a busy road! I thought, someone should move it. But who would? lol

Well i saw a pair of shoes on a pole line where the electricity comes from. That kinda counts as the middle of street, except in the air hanging.

Ha!
The weirdest thing I've ever seen in the middle of a road was a ghost-- looked like someone just appeared right in front of my car for a second. Freaked me out-- no kidding.

I've often wondered about that but it's when you see a pair of shoes, tied together and hanging over a power line!! How DO they get them up there??

I'll see things on the road but I usually don't wonder how they got there. Probably because I've never seen anything really weird, like a toilet seat.

Sometimes I see chunks of tire along the highway and skid marks nearby going into the concrete barrier or onto the shoulder.
I always have an image of what could have happened...
