It seems people are very biased. When the yanks were down 0-2 to the Indians they were DEAD. Why is that? Becuase they had to win 3 in a row and the indians only needed one win? Becuase they had their ace and their 40 year old going?

SO why is it the SOX, in the same situation, are given a chance? They need to win THREE GAMES IN A ROW, and the Indians only need to WIN ONE.
They have their ACE going and their FORTY YEAR OLD

So tell me why you people hate the yankees ( and if you say money, its not illegal to pay your employees, and the cost of living is greater in NYC that say Minnesota where teachers make half as much as ones here).

And CUrt, CRY ME A RIVER, Schilling needs to stop talking about everything. I want to see you pitch, that doesnt make you an expert on politics/ stem cell research/ religion. Please just put a SOCK IN IT.

Whose crying, im askin a question of hypocrites. Yankees pitching is old and tired?

Wang and Beckett are the same age
Clemmens and Schill are aboutthe same age
Pettite and Wakefield are the same age
Hughes is 20, Dice k is 27
Kennedy is 22, Lester is 25
Moose and Tavarez are about the same age
Joba is 21, Paps is 26
Mo and Timlin are the same age
Farnsworth and Gagne are the same age

So who are the gerritol twins now?

The yanks and sox both have dirty old men. TYpical hypocrite sox fan.

And please continue to think the yanks will be dead without Arod. GOod bye to a failure. Mo and Jorge will be back.

Keep hating the yankees, when the sox have turned into the big buget yanks. Dont keep acting like the underdog, because your not anymore.

And if the sox lose, they will end up in the same place as the yanks and everyother team that isnt the champ, NOWHERE

I'm a huge Yankees fan, but let's face it the Yankees have had a bad team for 8 years now, they started showing their decline in 2000, even though the won the World Series, their pitching has gotten worse and worse every year since 1999, thats why the Yanks didn't have a chance. The Yanks spend allot of money, but on the wrong players, name one player they traded for since 1999 that helped then win a World Series, you can't because there are none. They waste money on postion players, when it's pitching that wins games, and the pitchers they get are either old or over rated or both. And yes allot of people hate the Yanks because of money, but let's face it the Yanks have more money than anyother team. They play in the biggest market, in the country, and no matter what feild you are in, you will always get paid more in NY. But the small market teams get allot of money from the big market teams and not one owner uses that money on their team they all pocket it, so the fans of the small market teams should be made at their owners for not inesting more than for the Yankees for invest too much in their teams. It's not the Yankees fault all the expansion teams, except for the Mets, are all in small markets.

What are you talking about? After game 4 there were dozens of posts on here about the Sox being done, the Indians already being in the World Series, etc.

There were a few people who still gave the Red Sox a chance after game 4, but the majority of the questions were about the series already being over. There are almost as many Red Sox haters out there than Yankee haters.

There aren't as many Sox haters around now, but only because the series is now tied.

i can't imagine many people liked the yankees chances in the playoffs this year because their pitching was ancient/tired/overrated/etc. they played a great series against cleveland, just couldn't string any hits in any inning to score runs. now speaking of the sox, if you remember 2004... that's probably a good reason why the sox are "given a chance" this year down 2 games.

Dude, go to bed. HEADLINE: Yankees are out of the race. Get over it. Your team lost. They are now playing golf. You are still hanging on. Sorry you can't handle the fact the Sox are still in it and your manager just told your team to F off. Get over it. You are a loser and so is your team. Schilling just pitched a great game 6. Can anyone on your team say that. Oh no they can't, because they never made to a game 5. hahaha....Sox have now won two...what do you say now eh? Yankees are overrated and now heading back to the eighties and losing again. Get used it chump.

A whining Yankee Fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\
Go into hibernation with the reast of the Yankees and live with the fact that your team is donne for a while without Torre, A-Rod, Rivera, and Posada. Maybe you can keep Clemens and Mussina. The Geritol twins.
Let us enjoy our team and stomping tonight.
If the Yankees were playing tonight and winning you would be talking it up.
Now all you can do is cry in your closet.

WOW! Very sensitive aren't you.
I called Clemens and Mussina the Geritol twins because they are old and mainly because they can't win games.
The Sox older guys can still pitch. Now go cry again.

America Loves the Underdog.
The Yankees are never the underdog.
Sounds like you hate Curt Schilling. I do not agree that he should use his celebrity to sway political views; however he has been dynamite as a pitcher. That you cannot deny.

Because the Red Sox are BETTER.

I hope the Cleveland Idiots fans enjoyed game 5, it's last they'll see on their home field this season. GO SOX!!!!!

Mrs. Jeter- and if it were a one game series, the SOX would have won it. But it isn't, it's best of 7. So what's your point?

Maybe because the Sox are tied 3-3 while the yanks are already out. It's not hatred, it's just the truth because the yanks have lost three straight years in the first round.
