Are you stressed? Stress can cause your body to do odd things including skipping a period entirely. If you've had unprotected sex, you could also be pregnant. I'd see your gyno and get a blood test. You can also try a home pregnancy test again, but try it early in the morning. No matter what i'd see your gyno. They can actually get you on birth control to help regulate your period and prevent you from getting pregnant if you aren't already.

I would retest again. With my first pregnancy I had to take 3 in one week before my 3rd on came up extremely positive! You just may not have enough of the HCG hormone to test positive yet. After testing again this week if you do not test positive I would go see the Dr. and he can do some labs as well as a serum HCG to determine if you truly are pregnant. Hope this helps!

Go to the doctor and get a blood test to be tested for pregnancy. That is a sure fire way to tell early on if you are pregnant, even before the other tests will show anything. Good luck!

Visit your doctor for an exam and a blood test. It's not really normal to be 5 weeks late, so either you are pregnant and you are one of those rare women who doesn't get positive urine tests when pregnant, or you aren't pregnant and there is something weird going on with your body. Either way, only a medical professional can help you figure it out.

Pregnancy is not the only reason for a missed period. Call your doctor and have them check your hormone levels. Also, sometimes with Etopic (Tubal) pregnancies the home tests will turn up negative for several weeks.

First of all you can have a false negative if your hormone count is too low which mine was.
My advice is to call the doctor and explain what is going on.
They are going to tell you to come in or they should if they tell you to wait it out call another doctor because if your hormone count IS too low then you need to be on hormone medicine.

Wait a week and take another test, preferably in the morning right when you wake up (higher hormone levels in your pee). In the meantime, take good care of yourself and cross your fingers.

Call your doctor. If you are not pregnant then they should check to see that there are no other problems causing your period to be late.
