I have a site that is blocking my pc (have 3 other systems in my home not effected by the block). How are they able to block just one particular system, and what can I do to stop this. Will changing my volume serial number work, and if so, how do I do it? Or is this just a hopless situation?

I have already deleted cookies, temp files and history. They are not tracking my IP or the other systems would be blocked also. They are tracking something in this particular system. I am told that it is either the volume serial number or the hard drive serial number. After to speaking with support, I know the hard drive number can not be changed, but cant be tracked either. So could it be the volume serial that they are tracking..can it be changed and if so, how do I do it??

If its just one PC it could be your MAC ip address, not just an ip like they say (just ip meaning internet ip address) Mac IP is a IP that is made on that computer. Its tuff to reset it but not impossible.

They cant block your IP if other PC can access it, more like its blocking you by cookies.

I think they take your IP Address and add it to a blocking list.

It's probably your cookies. Go to:
Tools-Options

Then, delete the cookies.
