depends....if its a usb mouse, just plug it in

if wireless, it can probably work too

you should know, depending on what kind of mouse u bought (check the manual as well)

Assuming you bought a USB port mouse for the laptop, Yes, you can use it for desktop. Most of the desktop CPUs have a USB port connector for mouse that you can use to hook it up. In case, the desktop is really old and does not have that, you can buy a separate connector and use that to plug the mouse to the desktop.

Absolutely no problem, whether you were running Mac and Windows on two separate systems you could still use the mouse on either computer. Mouses are completely interchangeable between computers.

You should be able to use it for both. If you have questions about it check the manufacturers website, that should give you the answers you need! Most USB and serial mouses...er...mice are interchangable.

Chances are, if there is a compatible connector, yes.

If it uses a wireless adapter, you might need to add an appropriate card to the desktop.

Is it wireless or not? Wireless you'd have to install a disc that should've came with it into the desktop. If it isn't wireless, it should plug into the USB cord.
