Don't let the obvious Mac biased answer scare you. Install the printer on one computer, then right click the printer and share it.
On the other computer add a network printer and do a search for it. Since it is the only printer on the network, it will be easy to install. The drivers will be installed when you add it, no need to go through the software setup on the 2nd PC

Mac: all you have to do is plug the printer into one of the computers, then go to the other one and add it from the printer menu
PC: thats a different story. first, you have to install the printer software, drivers, and reboot. then you have to go to the other computer, and set it up so that it can be used in a network (you have to enable file and printer sharing), then (after 5 or 6 attempts at trying to find the printer) you can select it from a drop down menu. then you have to reboot THAT computer too, and by then it SHOULD be set up. but you might have problems... good luck!

A server may be the superb answer considering the fact it relatively is often on. If the printer is "community waiting" and has an ethernet connection, you need to purely plug into your router or community swap/hub and run the applying on each and every pc.in case you connect it to a pc and "share", that pc ought to proceed to exist or the different pc's isn't waiting to apply the printer.
