make you gain weight???
im thinking about getting on it to regulate my period but lots of people say it makes u gain weight, is that true?? and if it does would working out help prevent weight gain??

Birth control does mess with your hormones, it's a given. If you're on a birth control that keeps you from having a period every month, there is a chance you can gain weight. I personally don't know why. I'm 120lbs, was on a birth control that kept me from having a period for 3 months, I went from a B cup to a C cup! I'm now back on a normal pill where I have a period every month cause it's just healthier for me.

If you are prone to weight gain to begin with, then the BC may increase the weight gain.

Sometimes it does cause weight gain in some people.

Do not be upset about the weight gain.From the time you were small girl,your eight gain was very necessary,you didn't want to be stagnant,yes?Until adolescent as you are,the weight gain slowed down for some degree.So eat normally.

It depends on the person I think. Sometimes people gain weight and sometimes they actaully lose it. Well thats what I heard anyways.

it can but not to everyone. youd gain a hell of a lot more weight with an unwanted pregnancy lol so 'weigh' up the advantages of birth control

Not always but sometimes it does.

I'm on Kariva (pill) and I haven't gained any weight because of it.

I believe so but if you already work out you probably wont gain any...

it depends on the person, but i've heard from more than one doctor, that the amount isn't that much.
