like if you have a rich friend, he/she is a friend with benefits. if you are in the business world and you know somebody that owns a strong empire, thats a friend with benefits. Its friends that can help you get what you want, or get you somewhere you want. Like if you know a popular person, your popularity raises up. etc.

It is pretty much saying that they are friends.. they talk to each other but arent really going out.. they dont need to call every night and can date other people. But whenever they feel like it, they have sex. That is the benefit part.. I find this totally distgusting and stupid. Uggh.

basically you get the physical benefits, i.e. huggs, arm around waist, kisses, sometimes even beyond that if you know what i mean, without the 'chains' of a real relationship.

most of time this means to be friends and have sex. No strings no acting like you are boyfriend and girlfriend afterwards. This isn't a respectable thing to do.
