Do a pregnancy test before you get the shot. They won't give it to you until they do a test anyway. Next time, make sure you get your shot on time.~

I would not keep taking this - use condoms or the pill. I was on depo for about two years and I have been off it for a year and still don't really get periods I also thought that I was pregnant but that was not the case. (that doesn't mean you couldn't be pregnant - it's safer to get tested)

I have been to the doctor to have tests done to find the reason why I don't get periods and they found that my body is not producing eggs (this is what the depo does). So as it is I can't get pregnant I have even taken hormone tablets to rectify the problem but they didn't help. I already have two children so if I never start producing eggs again then at least I have kids.

I know this is an easy contraceptive as you only have to have it every three months but if you do want kids in the future I would go with another method cause you never know the same thing could happen to you - but then again other women stop taking it and fall pregnant straight away. It is you're choice.

hi I had 2 pictures of Depo which could have worn off in Aug 06. I even have in simple terms in simple terms gotten a era which replaced into in simple terms 3 days in length. I had testing achieved which has shown that I had stopped ovulating (maximum in all probability a area results of Depo as I even have 2 different little ones). I even have in simple terms finished my first around of clomid and am waiting to work out if I even have conceived. wait and notice as i do no longer think of you will conceive right this moment. prepare your physique for being pregnant. you need to be in a dedicated and lasting relationship devoid of marriage. single couples could be in simple terms as solid and able to improve a splash one nicely. you do no longer choose a bite of paper.

Glad to hear you didn't get it. DO NOT GET IT~

Please read up on the reviews from other women's experiences with the shot before thinking about getting it again.

It causes many serious health risks with a majority of women who take it.

and google "depo provera lawsuit".

If you DO go back and get it, they would take a pregnancy test first before administering the poison.

You need to be checked for pregnancy before you get your next shot.

Once you are late for your shot - you are at risk for getting pregnant.

you should go to the doct and get a pregnancy test. If it's negative then i guess you can go back to the birth control method you chose
