A little of both. I don't think that he was that great of a singer. But he was one of the best performers ever. He definitely had "IT".
But he also had quite a few problems. Drugs, a wicked short temper, insecurity, and a touch of Narcissism.
We lived in Memphis for a few years when I was a kid. Dad was coming home from work in his Marine Dress Blues, when Elvis pulled up next to him, on one of his Harleys. He saw the Blues and threw Dad a crisp salute. That was pretty cool.

Elvis was the start of Rock N Roll as we know it today. He started with his gyrating hips and lip snarl and cool hair and knew how to make sweet girls cry. He was the best of his day and paved the way for many who came after. Some I would say may be as good, some even better. BTW Awesome question! =)

Candyce Briann Christmas and Anna LaBreeska Christmas are the superb from each and every record. yet Candyce Sophia Christmas is greater appropriate than Candyce Briann Christmas. i do in comparison to Maddie in any respect, yet Madeline LaBreeska could be constructive. Maddie is plenty greater appropriate as a nickname. ~Princess.

I had my first crush on Elvis - I was 3. No matter what type of man he was, it made me happy as a child.

King of Rockin and Roll baby...he was the best! Do some research on the man and you will see. He was a very generous human being.

I had such a crush on him as a kid! He wasn't the best or the worst, but he created a physical presence to go with his music that was new at the time.
