There has been only one President to serve two non-consecutive terms in office: Grover Cleveland. He was both the 22nd and 24th president of the USA. Cleveland's first term was from 1885-1889, and his second term was from 1893-1897. William Harrison served in the period between Cleveland's two terms. (Many people think George Bush, Jr. is the 43rd President...because Cleveland's terms weren't consecutive, he is often counted as if he were two different people ). It would be interesting if Bush, Sr. would run again. It wouldn't be the first time that a President has served two non-consecutive terms, though.

I think George Bush is the worst President we have ever had. His father is a better person and out classes his son. However I think he was not a good President either, it seemed to start the mean, prejudice, corrupt, theocratic politics we have to a maximum today. I dont realy think our country can last another 4 years of Bush's management and policies. Really the only people better off are his friends and the super rich, yet it puzzles me that some people 27% still like him even though he does things against their interests.

I expect ex President Bush 1 wouldn't run as he's in his mid 80s now . I don't think there's an age limit to the age of a person running for president , but perhaps there should be.
It's known that Ronald Reagan was starting with alzheimers in his presidency.

Didn't think much of him the first time but this election is lacking any leader so might as well stick with the devil we know.

Yes, Barbara really knows how to run a White House and has both respect and class enough to leave everything in its place when she's through.

Yes, he was a good one, honey, but he is too old now. How about this... the libs always claim Bush wasn't elected for his first term...that should make him eligible to run again.

Only if he won the nomination. He is a big government RINO. We do not need another like him. We need a real conservative. I would only vote for him to keep a democrat out of the White House.
