Yes. I would want him to be successful in his own life, but success is not always rewarded equally well. Look at the crazy money given to footballers and movie stars, yet their work does not compare with a doctor or teacher or farmer, for example, people who provide essential services.

My wife has always made more money than me. Not always that much more, but there have been a couple of times that she was working while I was unemployed.
When we first got together, our first date was breakfast. Which she paid for, because I had spent my last dollar on a slut the night before. We got together the night before when my date dumped me for an older (much older) man. I think she felt sorry for me.

I have dated men who made less than I do--but more often the others made more than I did. But it never affected anything because I paid my own way most of the time. I don't need a sugar daddy. :)
