No charges. But have you signed a contract and accepted money or medical care from another couple who is expecting to adopt the baby?
You should probably make a decision before you meet the baby, though. Let your rational thoughts rule the decision, rather than just your emotions. Ask yourself: do you have the maturity, the finances, the right environment to raise a child?
Why were you considering adoption? There must have been some important reason why you and your husband were considering this.

No there is a like 30 or 60 day window that gives the birth parents the right to change their mind. If however you had a couple in mind that already paid for alot of things for you. You might have to pay them back but if not then all you have to do is tell your contact at the agency. They may say somethings you dont like but just be calm and let them know your have changed your mind and you are 100% in your decision and there is nothing they can do. Congratulations and Good luck!

Im not sure if you could face any charges for changing your mind, but it seems to me that if you are already feeling this way then you probably already know that this is something you are not sure of. You also mentioned that "he" decided on adoption, If this is something you really dont want to do and he just wont understand it, than I would consider giving up the husband and keeping the baby.. Good Luck

Negative, you have the right to change your mind and keep your baby. Your husband is a jerk for trying to make this decision for you. He should be grateful that you made love with him and can give him a child to love and raise.
I am confused about you being 10 months pregnant and still not due for 3 more weeks. This is normally a 9 month deal.
Are you kidding us?????

I don't know the legalities of it.
But don't let your husband make the decision for you!.
If you don't fully agree it will wreck your marriage, because you will resent him.
Make sure you are 100% confident in yourself that you are doing the right thing, it is a major life changing decision you are making, which will dramatically impact your life forever..
If you really need to adopt it out and are worried you are going to fall in love with the baby, (and honestly can't keep it,) don't bond with it, try not to cuddle it when it's arrived.
It will be hard, I am the mother of 2, and when the baby comes you fall in love instantly.
Goodluck!

It sounds like it was more your husbands decision than yours? If that's the case, you need to stand up for what you want. He should respect your wishes. I'm sure there is probably a lot of circumstances that I am not aware of that factor into the decision to give the baby up for adoption. But you must do what's best for the BABY.

No, you can change your mind up until the adoption is closed which I heard it takes a while. So if the child has been living with his "new" parents for 2 weeks you can still change your mind and get YOUR child back.

Sorry, but I can't take this question seriously.Who is pregnant for 10 months and 3 weeks? And if you decided on adoption, why were you asking people for baby items in your last question?

It's your baby. How can you be ten months pregnant and not due for another three weeks? That would make your baby seven weeks past due. Doesn't seem to pass the smell test now does it?

Even if you pick out parents and they are there at the birth or in the waiting room you can change your mind. They have no legal rights to that baby.
