why will none of the games load on my laptop?

I have tried different games none will work. It doesn't do anything or tell you anything

Laptops are lousy Gaming platforms. Check each Gaming website to see if your laptop graphics are supported in their products.

do you have a mac. most games dont work on that os. do you have an incompatible video card. if your laptop is really old, it may not have the minimum requirements to load the games. can you see the cd when you insert it in your drive?
