i'm just curious because i'm a shy girl. anyway what do you think of shy people (teenagers)? a lot of people are annoyed of them and like to make fun of them and it really bothers me!!!

I think that
1. When a shy person does not communicate, people get offended and think the person is stuck up. It's just human pride getting the better of them.
2. When people discover a girl is shy or quiet, they know the girl will be an easy target to tease. She will be less likely to speak out, lash out, or seek help for the teasing.

They..never bothered me...pretty much I was a semi-shy person with people I knew I wasnt compatible with... Tho, the ultra-shy people ...man they are *really* quiet and to themselves... there was two of them specifically in my life that I tried to befriend because like I said I was semi-shy and I know what it was like to be socially-independent (aka alone). Though, it was hard to get thru to them cuz they always seem so wary so I would try to get them to laugh and analyze what was funny with them and just chill.. the ones I talk to were pretty much normal people on the inside.
Also, the ultra-shy ones never really got made fun of.....it was liek the semi-shy ones like me...just because I didnt conform to what all the popular kids called normal....lol..

Must have a lot upstairs and be thinking a lot. Nothing wrong with that. Is great to sit on the sidelines and observe people.
Takes every kind to make this Big World of ours-but I know what you mean! Tell your shy friends to hang out with people like them and they'll be happier. They don't have to be around people that insult them.

I am the shy type as well and not the outgoing type. I know plenty of shy people and some of them are my really close friends. I can't stand it either when shy people are made fun of. I mean, they can't really help it if they are like that, just like obnoxious people can't help it if they are obnoxious.

I prefer shy people.
I am bothered by loudmouth people who talk a lot yet say nothing that's worth hearing.

No, I'm shy myself. I think shyness is ok until adulthood- especially if your excessively bashful. People run away from shy adults and think we're freaks unfortunately.

Shy people make me feel comfortable, better than loudly b!tches . Shy girls are cute and boys too
