don't give up. i'm 5'10" and at age 15 i could barely touch the backboard(didn't grow much between 15 and now). at age 16 i fell in love with basketball. my senior year i could dunk a basketball in practice(not in a game). but hey as a 5'10" white guy i was very happy. work hard and you'll be dunking by junior year. but honestly if you enjoy playing basketball, you should care less about dunking. rebounding, defense, mid-range jumper, and team play will get you a lot more playing time at the varsity level than dunking. and trust me that is much more fun than dunking.

I answered this somewhere else, so I just copy and paste..I am not sure you are referring to Basketball leap, or other type of Sports leap, I am standing at 1.7m, and played basketball. I always wanted to slam dunk or something like that, at least touch the rim or something, I never knew there is a barrier to my maximum leap till I google and found this eBook, I cannot revealed the secret here or else the copyright author would have sued me.. Well it DID Increase my leap by a few cm, comfortable enough to touch the rim, well I was pretty contented, and giving it a good review.
Here is the ebook link,

Works not only for basketball. Cheers

If you are only 15, give it time. You could still grow some. Keep in mind, touching the 10 foot rim and dunking are two different things. I can dunk a tennis ball, but not a basketball. I keep hitting the rim.

you need to be the subsequent Spud Webb. heavily, once you're purely 15, there's a good replace you are going to improve yet another couple inches. in case you are able to already get to 9'6", yet another couple inches in top and yet another couple inches on your vertical leap and you'd be there. you won't in any respect be waiting to make surprising dunks, yet you need to be waiting to dunk at last.

You have to be at least 6 feet to dunk also keep in mind you have to jump 1 feet higer then the rimp to dunk. Also try some jump exercise and find a sport that fits you.

You could still have a growth spurt. Don't give up hope yet. And even if you don't, it doesn't mean you can't play basketball(ex. Mugsy Bogues and Spud Webb).

You may. It's hard to tell at this point. You will surely get stronger and a little taller as you get older. You should be closer then.

You height is not enough to persue this stupid game which has only very tall people a foot from the basket dumping it in. Its a stupid game. Concentrate on other more important games.

Your measurements are not the contributing factor. Practice makes perfect; hopefully.
