You really can't use IQ tests for much The disagreements on what intelligence is and how to measure it has been quite a debate for a long time The tests always end up culturally biased and to add to the problems they have been bell curving the results for decades to make 100 an average score If you took an IQ test from 30 yrs ago and compared it to scores of today you would get a horrible shock Hand is to glove and hat is to ___________? Complete this numerical sequence ---1 ,2, 3, 5, 8, ______,_______? Test question How many days in a week ? Answer marked wrong but overwhelmingly given by working class children in the 70's was 5 ---- 5 days in a working week is the wrong answer -- 7 was given by middle class and upper class children which was marked correct etc etc

I live in Massachusetts. Of course everyone here has a degree. It's either our number one or two industry.

What red state folk know, and blue state folk figure out about 10 years later, is that you really need to get out of college and into the real world of work. For most people college is a way of prolonging their childhood.

I mean seriously, what could Boston College or Boston University teach you in your freshman year that is worth $40K+? I sure as hell don't remember much, though I can tell you I had a good time.

Of course tuition back then was only $15K.

Actually, its the other way around--states with high rates of people with college degrees tend to "turn Blue." That's because, in the absence of a ture conservative party, virtually anyone with an education, liberal or conservative, is going to vote Democrat.

I don't know. Perhaps education is unpatriotic? According to some, thinking for oneself is unpatriotic.

How are you going to say people with colleges degrees are more childish? You're talking about people who avoid graduating.
