I like the chaser ones. My fave are the ones i bought on clearance last year, shaped like bells that twinkle in time to different Christmas songs. (they play the songs, too)

I find the blinking lights too distracting indoors. They are ok outside, but only is they are alternating blinking lights. I really hate it when they all go off at the same time.

I like them both, but I always have non blinking lights on my tree inside. I sometimes use the blinking lights on my bushes outside.

No. Blinking is an irritation, unpeaceful, non-silent at night, depressing, overly commercialized like neon signs.
But it's really no big deal. I would try no blink for a change because they've been blinking for me for about 35 years.

Indoor or outdoor?
Outdoor --non-blinking, too distracting.
Indoor --it comes down to personal preference but a gentle blink is pretty nice.
