Ok. I have a NOKIA 5300 phone(T-Mobile) and I first made a mistake by trying to set the PIN to lock the phone or something. But, a PIN number was already set for the phone before and so I kept trying and it kept saying it's wrong. So, after several tries, it said that the PIN is now locked and I had to enter a PUK code. I had no clue what that is. So I turned off the phone and on again. However, it asks me for the PUK code again. I tried many combinations, and finally got the right one-12345678, and also found out that 00000000 also works. The problem is, after I entered that, it tells me to enter a new PIN, or I can't use my phone at all, except for emergency calls. I type in the PIN i want, it tells me to verify it. I type it in again, press ok and it says "Code error". EVERY TIME. I've tried like 30 times already. If in the verify thing I type in a different PIN it just says that the codes don't match. So what should I do??!??!?!! Will it help to call them? Any suggestions?

Generally does not help to call them. Try entering 12345 or the last four of your phone number. If that fails then try entering the following: *3001#12345# Arrow to "security" note the number. Power cycle the phone off then on. Now find Restore Factory Settings on your phone and restore the settings.
