Bob Saget's pre-sitcom stardom standup act (when he was billed as "Bob Dishy"--for real!) was raunchy as f***. After "Full House" and the first six years of "America's Funniest Home Videos",he probably felt that enough time has lapsed in order to resume his very adult standup comedy act.

I think he tries to be outrageous to break away from the stereotyped father on Full House. But, I think his comedy acts were very dirty before he went on that show, but no one knew him then. His type of comedy isn't really for me either!

i def agree. i watched his HBO special a few weeks ago and couldn't believe how bad he was. he did use the f word waaaayy too much to be funny. i rarely laughed and found myself watching it to see if it could get any worse.
