I haven't bought the shoes and dress shirts yet. I like burgundy shoes over brown shoes. Hence I'm trying to make up my mind if they would look good with the suits I have.

Burgundy shoes are funny. The sales guys will try to get you to buy by convincing you that they go with everything. In my humble opinion, they look a little weird with everything (unless your a fab flashy pimp daddy who wears burgundy suits). I don't think I've ever seen an outfit that was improved by a burgundy shoe. Most of the time, I'll think - that would have looked better with a black shoe (or camel or brown).

Nope. Dark brown shoes go well with light brown, tan, and dark brown suits, also best for ivory, and beige.
Black shoes go well with all other colors.
Burgundy shoes go with burgundy suits.

A pink or lavender coloured dress would suit dark brown hair :)
