Those are all great books. If you like those, I'd try reading The Golden Compass and the other books in the series: The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass, they're awesome!

I'm a military fiction author and recommend my series of books. They involve tense world crises that erupt into all-out war. I do focus most of the attention on my primary characters, but am balancing it out now. My series is very action packed and is hard to put down, even for me and I'm the guy who wrote and published the books.

go to www.bookreporter.com...great website....look around. I always find something to read from there. Scroll through the "word of mouth" section, and read the reviews from other people.
