I want to be remembered as someone who turned her life around and lead a good life after all. This will not make life history but that is ok.

Interesting. The question is posed as though we have a choice. I think, perhaps, we are remembered in categories - regardless of how we "want" to be remembered. Artists are, for the most part, remembered by the artistic community within which the move and work - unless, of course your are a Renoir or Bach or of that ilk. Military men/women are remembered by their kind - again, unless they are particularly heroic or particularly heinous - George Washington, Genghis Khan, Hitler, Churchill (yes, he was military - politically military).

Being a "legend" in the sense of Greta Garbo appeals to me, but is unlikely - legends do not remain legends for very long these days - we, as a human community extract far too much glee watching the legends fall from grace.

What I have done that I would want to be remembered - I took care of my family when they needed me, took care of my piece of the planet as best I could and with my limited, but growing, knowledge base - and I write - for myself, mostly, but for those who will mourn my passing to find and read and, perhaps, find comfort knowing that I truly loved life - all of it - even the end.

The end.

As a good Christian. I don't care about being a legend. I just hope to make good use of the time the Lord has given me on this earth. John 3:16

I really don't know how I want to be remembered...

While I'm alive I want to learn as much about life as I can...become kind of an "expert human", if you will.

I would love to do something geniunely meaningful and really make the world a better place. I just don't know how I would go about doing that yet.

I think, eventually, almost everybody gets forgotten.

I think everyone of us is a part of the nature,we were born naturally and will die naturally,so why don't we live naturally, not for any purpose, but for ourselves.(for ourselves means: 1. do our best to raise our own life's quality.2.to help the weakness with our best.3.to do something which can contribute to the people all over the world.)
During above things, naturally is the most important thing.(i'm a Chinese,if the words, you know...)

I don't want my name to die with me, but being a legend also seems quite likely. However, I don't want to wither away like the rest of man, I want to be the one, the only.

I rarely give stars... but this deserved one.

In each of my units that I was in, I tried to leave a legacy. I've done well with that. But in life... that's another story. I am praying that my daughter will lead people to understand that there is a way we can all get along, based on what I tell her about life.

And show them the pictures to prove it. I love photography.

Many artist are remembered by their works. I just want that people respect and admire my works after I die, even if they don't know my name.

That's immortality.

I'll settle for being remembered fondly by those who knew me. Achievements matter when you're achieving them - but all are displaced in time, and most are forgotten. At best they are merely steps for others to stand on. So be it; as ever it was.
