1 888 BOOST 4U is the customer care number.

If you just stop paying, your account will "die" in 90 days.

If you set up automatic payments from a credit card or bank card, you may have to go onto the website, sign in using your phone number and pin code, and change your payment option to "cash" Then you simply don't send them any more money.

Its not like a contract where they charge you a penalty. You quit paying--phone goes off. No harm, no foul.

Neither of these options work anymore. You have to call Customer Care at 1-866-402-7366 and then enter your Boost phone number. Then select option 5 ("Other"), option 4 ("Card issues"), option 3 ("Other") and you should finally have a live person on the phone.
