Eugenics makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, free people would never submit to it. Eugenics would only work under a totalitarian dictator.
We are not a kennel full of dogs to be bred by the geneticist, but free and independent humans. Some day soon, the Socialists will take over the USA and then probably the world and they can and will do what ever they want to humans, much as the Nazis did for a short time.

The eugenics movement is a code word for racism and the deliberate murder of people the "proponent" doesn't like. It is the basis of the Nazi Holocaust--and no normal human bing supports it.

NO!!!
Epigenetics is a new light on how we see genetics and heredity.
A) So this so called "genetic superiority" may be "expressed" in nearly ever human because it changes the way how DNA is read, as opposed to changing DNA. And it doesn't require "breeding programs".

B) It means getting rid of genetic diversity. In fact, genetic monotony hurts species AND individuals. Sort of like in-breeding.

I believe in it -- in the sense that I know there are people pursuing that technology -- and that the concepts have been present in political agendas for centuries.

I don't agree with the practice -- other than minor genetic engineering to eliminate congenital and genetic diseases.

I don't. You can't play God and what would you do with people of 'lesser genetic purity'?

This sounds an awful lot like Gattaca, and, taken to its darkest extreme, Nazism
