There are actually 19 NCAA college football teams in Michigan.
Division I - Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Michigan, Michigan State, Western Michigan
Division II - Ferris State, Grand Valley State, Hillsdale, Michigan Tech, Northwood, Northern Michigan, Saginaw Valley State, Wayne State
Division III - Adrian, Albion, Alma, Hope, Kalamazoo, Olivet

They have 2 teams from the BCS conference (Big 10), i.e. Michigan and Michigan State. They have other teams too in MAC.
