If you just want to read it, you can get microfilms from commercial services or find them at the library for any of the major papers. If you want the actual paper, by this time you would be going to the collectors market. I think it is unlikely that back issues would be available from papers, but you could call them and ask for back issue. You would be more likely to get 9/12 than rush issues from 9/11

Contact the newspaper and look through their archives to find the articles you are looking for. I don't know that you will be able to get an actual newspaper but you can print the article.

Check any newspaper website. I'm sure you can order past issues. September 12th might cost a little more, but you should be able to get it no problem.

If you have access to a good library or a newspaper 'morgue', it is very simple: you can take printouts of what you are interested in.
Otherwise open the webpage of the newspaper you are interested in and search by date.

You need to call the new york times or what ever newspaper you want it from. Ask them for a paper from that day. Good Luck. usually they have a morgue where they keep their old papers.

Call your local newspaper (or whichever one you want), and they should have archived copies. I believe it's called the morgue (the department name). Not sure if you can get actual printed copies or just microfilm? But start there. They should be able to direct you to what you're looking for.
