it still leaks about a drop per every 6-7 seconds and i cannot get it stopped.i went to the hme improvement astore and they said there was no adhesives available to stop it that dried in a few minutes.i have a sponge under the toilet to catch the drips.is there any epoxy or plummers clay available that you canput around the top of the tank to stop it for good?i did exactly what the instructions to reinstall the new ball and pivot recommended.i have a porclean toilet resevoir.

From you description it is hard to tell where the leak is. If you bought a complete kit it would have all the new gaskets and things that you need to make it like new assuming it is not cracked. I wouldn't use adhesives etc. that would be just a short term fix. Get all the right parts and repair it correctly. You will be much happier with the results.

silicone mite work here,
see when you install them, they are supposed to be balanced
maybe you over tighten it ,
take it off, and look to see , if you put it under too much pressure, it should rock , just a tiny bit ,back /forward,
so when you sit down , it wont bust .
you mite need a new washer there ,that mite help
