Okay, here's the deal. I'm a college student, so I don't always have a large flow of cash. Therefore, I do not need a contract cell phone plan because I don't need to get into trouble with credit agencies at such a young age. Currently, I have a Tracfone, but I'm not crazy about it. I've had it for about 2 years now, and it's "okay", but the lack of incentives (unlimited nights and weekends/mobile to mobile calling etc) makes it feel overpriced. I want something a little more up to date. I've been looking into the UPrepaid Pay-per-Day plan with Alltel. So far, it looks pretty solid. 75 cents per day with 2 free features included, and then just 10 cents a minute for calls not in the free features. So, theoretically, one could get Unlimited Nights and Weekends and 1 Favorite Number calling, and call/receive calls from the 1 favorite number and do any other calling at night or on the weekends and it'd be roughly $22.50 a month. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

That's exactly how it works. For $0.25 each (or $1.00 or 1.25 per day instead of $0.75) you could add unlimited mobile to mobile to Alltel customers and unlimited text messaging. But if the 2 free features fit your needs, then you seem to have it down
