Usually by Thanksgiving I find myself putting on some type of footwear for extended periods of time outdoors or longer trips to the shopping center, but this Autumn has been rather warm!
I'm hoping to stay barefoot til Christmas. Am I just dreaming?

That would depend on where you live, Sailorboy. Where I live, I am still wearing flip flops during the day but wearing mukluks at night. Around January or February, it will be closed toed shoes day and night until March or April. So, if you are in So Cali, you just may be barefoot until Christmas!

Come the final holiday and new years i'm in gentle foot positioned on. you at the instant are not dreaming. LOL i think of i ought to stay on the nude coastline yet i'm somewhat modest! stay happy and loose! i'm a tree hugging hippie and that i smoke weed too!!!!

Here in south Louisiana, we pretty much go barefoot year round. I guess it depends on how sensitive you are to the cold. Some people bundle up when it's 55 degrees.

I've been outside barefoot after Bonfire Night ..... once or twice. Generally, though, I tend to need to shoe up around October.

I guess it would depend on how far north you live, though ..... I live around 53 degrees N and just seem to be immune to the cold.

I never go barefoot outside. In Canada I used to until mid-September, but here in the south there are too many thorny plants, fire ants, and parasites that can get in through bare feet.
