I can help you with one off the top of my head.
Part African/American Crispus Attucks. Age 47.
Citizen of Boston in March 1770.
He was one of the instigators of the Boston Massacre which was basically one volley fired from 7 British soldiers into a Boston crowd killing 5 colonial Americans including Mr. Attucks who was hit twice and died on the spot. Attucks was right in the face of the British soldiers hurling insults and some say knocking one to the ground with a club. The subsequent newspaper coverage of the "Massacre" was played up in the pre-Revolution drive to seek independence from the "oppression" of Britain.

A picture of Crispus Attucks is available at the site listed below, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. There were no photographs then, so this must be a sketch artist's rendition.
