Be careful doing this. Some of the aid agencies have actually harmed Africa by these types of donations.

A few years back there was a big drive for clothes for Africa, and in some countires, it destroyed a lot of the local economy because there were so many free clothes that the local busissmen were going out of business.

Today they try to monitor this from happening again.

The best you can do is give it to your local thrift store,
They say half of the cloths that are given to outside countries get thrown away or sold in bulk to out side buyers like you and me , and then they go to Mexico , and sold to the poor Thats what GOODWILL & salivation army DOES THEY are the biggest thieves I know besides bush.
Best if you want them to get to Africa take them your self,
Or they say Opfhy Winphy she runs a school there.. I am sure you can find that on the internet ?
The ceo of Goodwill makes 160.000 a yr yep thats a fact
So just give them to the poor in your home town ,,
Or donate them to a local school where you live "

We have some programs for young children and are also affiliated with one of the local Lions' clubs. What age are the kids you think the clothes are appropriate for? We would be more than happy to keep you in the loop in terms of media articles explicitly naming you as the donor. My contact details are available at:
