I mean yeah I know that and I'm sorry but im in southern georgia without cable..it was very odd and strange

This guy used to call my job at least 3-4 times a week and ask if I wanted to hear a joke. He never told me a joke, he would proceed to tell me a dirty bondage story. At first it was just funny I would out him on speaker phone & we would all get a good laugh. After a while it was like he became more comfortable or something & he started to get more and more graphic. When I could hear him touching himself is when I started to hang up on him!
In case you're wondering why I put up with it at all... I was working as the door girl in a strip club, so I got strange calls all the time!

Somebody I did not know singing Spanish love songs to me, and not understanding anything I said to them - so couldn't tell them it was a wrong number.

Closely followed by an international phone call from an Arabic sounding man who only said "F*** you" and kept calling every 2 hours.

Finally, people used to call me at home all the time asking to speak to Lucky Cyril, and asking me about rabbits feet.

For the threatening calls, I would have used some reverse search tactics on the Internet, if the web had existed at the time...

Weirdest was a week ago. I was just thinking about my niece when the phone rang. A girl said "Hi, it's Hayley. Is my Martin there?" It was a wrong number, but weird because my niece is named Hayley and her son's name is Martin.
The worst calls were from the hospital. One to tell me that my dad had just died and the other to tell me my mother was dying. Worst moments of my life

I had lost my wallet and filed a police report and everything. A month or so after this had happened, someone called me up at about 3am saying my name which they pronounced wrong and they knew my address, probably from my drivers license and they said they were going to come over and kick my ***.

They called a few times with this same threat but they never came over to do any harm.

This satellite tv company had a computer making sales calls with a taped message. You couldn't even talk to a real person to tell them to put you on their no call list. I will never buy satellite tv because of these obnoxious people.

I ran an Ad for my Carpentry work. Well in the wording I said. Odd Jobs. Well this lady called and asked...What sort of odd jobs do you do? I answered her...How can I help you? She says to me...Will you come over and look at my naked body? Of course I declined. I'll always remember that one.

Some guy called me once and claimed I went to high school with him. He said we were great friends and he knew things about me--like what my cat's name was. I don't know him and I even asked a friend if she remembered anyone by that name and she said no. What a silly prank.
