I think so...Appalachian may meet Georgia Southern in the playoffs...I think they'll get them if they meet again...App is still the best I-AA team in the country...and Jerry Moore the best I-AA coach...and he's awesome because he is loyal to App...

The loss to Georgia Southern leaves them at 5-2, and they still have to play two teams in front of them in the Southern Conference, The Citadel and Chattanooga. They were #5 in the FCS Coaches Poll, but they'll drop with the loss.

They'll most likely still get a bid to the FCS Tournament, but I don't see them getting to the title. Too many good teams in the way, and they seem to give up a lot of points when they're not playing teams that are totally outmatched.

If you mean the BCS I-A National Championship then No because they aren't eligible

I think they have a great chance to play in the I-AA championship since yall get to have a playoff.

Not the BCS. Theyre in division I-AA. But they have a good chance for their division.

I'm guessing you mean the 1-AA (or whatever the new name for it is) National Championship.

Appalachian State isn't eligible to be ranked in the BCS polls.
