Ours won't be free but it will be affordable for everyone, you will have choices & if you've read it, you will find that they won't be able to turn you down because of pre-existing conditions.

Our Health care system is broken. We spend more per capita than most countries with a wore outcome. One third of the personal bankruptcies iin the country are a result of Medical bills. Fewer employers are offering health Insurance (for good reason it cost big $$$). This forces more people to go with out insurance.

Insurance companies are cherry picking who they will cover and dropping subscribers when they become seriously Ill. Twenty years ago than 15 % of our premium money was retained by the insurance compaies to process claims the remaining 85% went to provide Medical benefits. Now 40 percent of our premiums is retained by the insurance companies. Why do you think they have been busy buying up the Non Profits? TO reduce competition!!

Bring on National Health Insurance

It appears Hillary has learned a LOT from the Republicans.
Her new effort to win is almost something I could agree with -IF she means it.
I would insist that NO increases in spending from the tax pool be allowed and that health expenses and coverage must NEVER be allowed to become a political issue.
She CAN'T honestly promise that, so she should set up similar guidelines and have private insurance provide the benefits within a similar framework.
If it is allowed to become a part of a government bureaucracy, all expenses will become a matter of debate and the argument will be "We can afford to keep them alive on life support at a million dollars a day forever!"
Where will we be able to draw the line on health care costs? will we bankrupt ourselves? Or will we "RATION" our health care. And who will receive it? Who will decide?
The ONLY option is to keep it OUT of the hands of Government!

I actually think the plan is as good a compromise as you can get in the current state of affairs in the US.

ummm no! look at canada...socialized healthcare....waiting lists for surgery....parents taking kids to the e.r. instead of taking of to take them to the doctor...rising costs.....lets see thinks the government has messed up...public schools(falling behind in math and science on the global scale. they keep throwing money at the schools and its not fixing the problem) social security going broke and something i have to pay for but will never see. two programs big brother has done such a good job of overseeing i am sure that they will do fine with a socialized health care plan...look no further than tennessee and there health care plan---tenncare....went broke, lots of fraud i am sure that this would happen on an even larger scale in the federalist system....oh not to mention this was hillary's pet project as first lady and it was a total failure.
outcome......higher taxes and a crappy system....no thank you!

LOL, ask people in England, they have to pull out their own teeth with pliers (literally) because it takes 6 months to get a dentist appointment. It is free, however.

getting the government involved will only raise prices (think about the $4000 hammers) and limit our options. it will also take away the incentives that lead to innovations.
